SharePoint has a split personality — grass roots collaboration and enterprise content management. Content types are a way to integrate both kinds of uses and enforce consistency throughout an organization. But they can be hard to use because of multi-level governance issues, a hierarchical inheritance structure, and a somewhat complex implementation process.

This 6-hour workshop covers both high-level planning issues and practical how-to information that enables knowledge managers to:

INSTRUCTOR

Jean Graef is a "boundary spanner" with an interdisciplinary background as a manager, entrepreneur, librarian, programmer, and journalist. She has been developing and conducting seminars on leading edge information topics since the early 1980's. She is author of Customizing and Governing the SharePoint Search System.

COST
The workshop fee is $1,340 per person (minimum of 6 participants), plus travel expenses if conducted on-site. The fee includes slides and electronic handouts relevant to the session topic.
